Last week’s premiere of LESSONS LEARNT at the City of Portsmouth College marked a significant milestone for Tuesday Club Studios. The red carpet event and hospitality were exceptional, and we are sincerely grateful for the donation of proceeds to Film Crew 4u, providing essential support for our ongoing projects like these.
Our involvement began late last year when Chris Jupp invited me to join Karah Mew's photography class to assist with the production of Old Souls through the newly formed Tuesday Club Studios born out of the photography class.
That initial collaboration has since evolved into a highly productive venture. The group of mature adult learners has now completed LESSONS LEARNT, that was premiered, filmed a documentary, and competed in the DVMISSION - The 48 Hour Film Challenge, all while Old Souls remains in production.
It is a privilege to see Karah Mew and the college select Film Crew 4u as their supported Community Interest Company. This partnership is a testament to the value of local creative collaboration and its impact on the Portsmouth film community.
